I hope your resting well with God up there in Heaven.
It’s crazy how I can listen to all of your album’s and feel like I know you. It’s as if I’m your best and closest friend, and your venting to me about all the things that you where going through and how you felt. I never knew you personally, I wasn’t even on earth when you where ( I almost was) but because of the great legacy that you left behind, it’s kinda like I did know you personally through your music. Your body is gone, but not your spirit you will live on through me, because of how open and honest and real you are in you’re music I feel like I was with you everyday of your life. Which is why every generation can relate to you and why I can relate to you! You take me through a different emotion in each song you had me feeling encouraged with "Keep ya head up" (Favorite line from that song : "2Pac cares, if don’t nobody else care.") and had me deeply saddened with "So Many Tears" and those are only two of many others. I have a special place in my heart for you and even though you only only saw the earthly age of 25 you where wise beyond your years, you taught me so much. You had an unfathomable amount of respect for women, and you also taught me how to respect myself as a young women, with songs like "Wonda Why They Call You Bitch" ( The title sounds negative, but the song is about girl who had no respect for herself, and she slept around and Tupac tried to help her gain a sense of respect for herself! ) and that’s why I have eternal love for you!
You’re spirit is an extension of mine! Eternally Yourz
- Micah Whitaker
P.S. I don’t have a favorite song of yours because it changes everyday but I’m really feeling "Do for love" at the moment but it will be something different next week :)
P.P.S I know you weren’t perfect but who is, we all have flaws. But I when reflect on you and your life, I see the person that the media didn’t want people to see, which was the kindhearted, sweet, intelligent, sensitive, and deep thinking man. Even though you lived a thug life, just like you I DON’T classify your music as " GANGSTA RAP" I think its poetry straight from your heart! :)
